I’m calling these “purple grass” but I’m using the term loosely. They also kind of remind me of a galaxy/glass (note the spots and yellow area in the tail). They would probably be classified as “AOC bicolors” using IFGA specifications. These popped up in one of my current bi-color / snakeskin lines. A couple generations ago, I did a cross with a female purple grass and one of my existing AOC bicolor males. I had imported a pair of purple grass swallow guppies from Thailand, but the male died in transit. I made this cross to save the line, but what I ended up with were a lot of great bicolors and snakeskins. I’m assuming part of the purple grass combination was carried along by the female in the original cross which partially showed up again. They’re interesting fish, but I probably won’t use them in any crosses.
